Conclusion

You have now experienced the fundamentals of music notation.  You have learned the basics of pitch and rhythm:  how to recognize note names on a staff, how to recognize the different types of notes, and how to count rhythm.  You have been introduced to just a few ways of creating those sounds on various instruments.

Obviously, this is just the beginning.  Basic literacy comes first, then fluency.  Now that you have learned to read notes, the next step is to practice what you have learned until you become fluent:  that is, being able to reproduce the notes from the page on your chosen instrument.  Perhaps the most important part of this is to train your ear to recognize the pitches that you see on the staff.  Then when you look at music notation, you will be able to correctly hear it in your head.  This will greatly facilitate your ability to translate what you see into sound, either with your voice or with any other instrument.
