This was actually composed as the result of a game I was playing, whereby I had written the 12 chromatic note names 5 times each on little cards, and placed them into a box. Then, drawing 5 cards at random, I used those as a motif for a composition. (The notes drawn were G, Bb, Eb, G, and F.)
Sometimes Heaven seems so far away, and the road between here and there is paved with hardship and suffering.
