My original concept for this piece was actually for a fast jazz trio, with drums and a walking base. I did have a chance to perform it that way one on one occasion. As a piano solo, though, I take it at a more leisurely tempo.
The challenges we face in life are merely the loom upon which the fabric of our character is woven.
