Reflection

Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my thoughts.
Show me where I need correction,
And lead me in the way of everlasting life.
Psalm 139:23-24

Quietly allow the Holy Spirit to examine your heart
and bring to your attention anything that needs repentance.

Confession

I confess to you, Almighty God,
that I have sinned
in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done
and what I have failed to do,
through my own fault,
and I renounce and repent of my sins
before you now.
Therefore, I ask you, Lord Jesus Christ,
in your great mercy,
by the blood you shed on the cross,
to forgive me of my sins
and cleanse me from all unrighteousness,
according to your word and your promise.
1 John 1:9

Restoration

Who can discern his errors?
Cleanse me from hidden faults.
Keep back thy servant also
from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
Psalm 19:12-13

Psalm 51:7,1

Lord, please fill me with your Holy Spirit
that I may walk according to your ways.
Galatians 5:16

May the words of my mouth,
the meditation of my heart,
and the work of my hands
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Psalm 19:14
