A Prayer of Trust
Wednesday, March 13, 2024
When we place our full trust in God, the reward we reap is the peace that surpasses all understanding.
As you pray this prayer, let it be your pledge to God, a renewing of your vows to Him. Or if you're really struggling with trust, replace the words “I will Trust” with “Help me trust”.
I will trust in You, Lord.
I will trust in your Love and your Goodness;
I will trust in your Grace and your Mercy;
I will trust in your Provision and Protection.
I will trust in You, Lord.
I will trust in your Leading and Guidance;
I will trust in your Plan and your Purpose;
I will trust in your Word and your Promises.
I will trust in your Faithfulness.
I will trust in You, O Lord,
all of my days, forever and ever.
Amen.
I will trust in your Love and your Goodness;
I will trust in your Grace and your Mercy;
I will trust in your Provision and Protection.
I will trust in You, Lord.
I will trust in your Leading and Guidance;
I will trust in your Plan and your Purpose;
I will trust in your Word and your Promises.
I will trust in your Faithfulness.
I will trust in You, O Lord,
all of my days, forever and ever.
Amen.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:6-7
It is said that “he who sings, prays twice.”
If you prefer to express your heart to the Lord through song,
here is the above prayer set to music:

What to ourselves in passion we propose,
The passion ending, doth the purpose lose.
