Thy Will Be Done On Earth: A Daily Prayer

Saturday, November 13, 2021

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the universe;
May Your name be exalted in all the earth.

May Your righteousness and justice prevail over all darkness, lawlessness and corruption;
May Your truth vanquish all the lies of the enemy.

May Your light expose all the deeds of the wicked,
and Your warrior angels thwart their plans, plots and schemes.

May You remove the wicked from their places of power, influence and authority,
and strip them of every means whereby they commit evil and inflict harm upon others.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the universe;
May Your name be exalted in all the earth.

May You set free all who are held in bondage, trapped in slavery, or wrongfully imprisoned,
and bring liberty to the exploited and oppressed.

May You restore a voice to those who have been silenced,
and grant justice to the downtrodden.

May You protect the vulnerable and helpless,
and put an end to human trafficking, exploitation, and the shedding of innocent blood.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the universe;
May Your name be exalted in all the earth.

May You lift up all who are bowed down,
and bring hope to those who are in despair.

May You have mercy on the poor,
and provide for those who are in need.

May You heal the afflicted, comfort those who are suffering,
and save all who call upon Your name.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the universe;
May Your name be exalted in all the earth.

May You cause the righteous to rejoice,
and make glad the hearts of those who have put their hope in You.

May those who love You shout for joy at Your great victory,
and exult in triumph over Your mighty deliverance!

Let the redeemed of the Lord lift up songs of praise,
and extol Your name forever and ever!

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the universe;
May Your name be exalted in all the earth!

Finally, brethren,
whatever is true,
whatever is noble,
whatever is right and just,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable —
if anything is excellent or praiseworthy —
fix your mind on these things.
— Philippians 4:8
