Omnipotent.  Omnipresent.  Eternal.  I find it comforting to know that God isn't bound by space and time.  He is never too busy for His children, occupied with obligations and responsibilities.  Because He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and eternal, existing outside of time, He can tend to all the business of running the universe and still hear my prayers, be near to me, and speak to Me through His Word and by His Spirit.

He is the only one who is always there.
He is the only one who always listens.
He is the only one who truly knows me.
His love is the only love that is perfect and complete, steadfast and trustworthy.

How gracious is our Lord, that He should regard us with such tender and loving care, and what a great and awesome privilege that we can come before the Creator of the universe, cast our cares on Him, and rest in His kind and merciful embrace.

He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

It is said that an argument is what convinces reasonable men and a proof is what it takes to convince even an unreasonable man.  With the proof now in place, cosmologists can no longer hide behind the possibility of a past-eternal universe.  There is no escape, they have to face the problem of a cosmic beginning.
