Working Alongside the Master

John 12:26 says, "Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me."
We may not be able to be "where Jesus is" physically, but God is Spirit, and through intercession, we can work alongside our Lord and Master wherever He is at work.
This could start with something as simple as praying for the needs of your loved ones. As God strengthens you and causes you to grow, you can pray for others in your church, your community, and for the work of the Kingdom around the world. Wherever Jesus is at work, you can be there too, working by His side.
He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
Surely He took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered Him stricken by God,
smitten by Him, and afflicted.
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered Him stricken by God,
smitten by Him, and afflicted.
But He was pierced for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him,
and by His wounds we are healed.
He was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him,
and by His wounds we are healed.
